The Pipistrello tread is for extremely fast circuits. The open diamonds allow you to maintain a good grip on both a sandy surface and a grass surface. The two lines (radius control) on the side ensure that the tube has a cutting effect on sandy surfaces.
The cotton casing with high TPI (thread-per-inch) offers excellent puncture resistance, elasticity, rolling resistance and handling in corners.
Neoprene is a 0.1 mm-thick protection silica coating applied to the casing to extend the lifetime by preventing the tyre casing to absorb humidity and mud. The coating does not affect the tyre functionality and comfort.
